You are not alone!
For years I struggled with my relationship with my parents and at times even considered severing contact.
Many men experience difficult relationships with their parents. As a man, you seek connection and recognition, but finding it can be challenging.Β
In addition, there may be a lot of pent-up anger because your parents created an unsafe situation for you (unconsciously) with emotional or even physical violence.
We believe that the relationship with your parents reflects all the relationships in your life. Sharing about this with like-minded men will give you new insights.
Do you recognize any of the following beliefs?
β‘οΈ My parents don't understand me.
β‘οΈ My parents can't talk about feelings.
β‘οΈ My parents are never proud of me.
β‘οΈ My parents should apologize to me.
β‘οΈ I really don't look anything like my parents π .
